Traditional Sweet Pongal Rice is a popular rice dish in the South Indian states, Pongal rice is a sweet dish, The rice boiled with milk and jaggery during the Pongal festival is a tradition in India, Pongal Rice is a special sweet which is very Healthy  And Tasty, Let's Start How it is Prepared

INGREDIENTS:-


1/4 Kg- Peanuts
2 Tbsp- Ghee
2 Tbsp- Dry Fruits
1/2 Kg - Rice
1/2 Kg-Jaggery (Bellam or Gud)
1 Cup- Milk

PROCEDURE:-


In a Pan Roast 1/4 Kg- Peanuts And Make Powder, Keep A Side

Now in a Pan Add 2 Tbsp- Ghee & 5- Kaju(Cashew Nuts), 5 - Almonds(Badam) & Raisins(dried Grapes) Fry This Dry Fruits in Ghee for 2- Minutes until Light Golden Colour, Keep A Side

Cook The Rice In A High Flame

When The Rice Is 80% Cooked Add The Gratted 1/2 Kg Jaggery ,Mix Well And Cook For 10 Minutes in Medium Flame

Then Add The Prepared Peanuts Powder And Mix Well, Again Cook For 5 Minutes, Check & Mix in Between Time of 5- Minutes

When The Rice Is Almost Cooked Add Cardamom(Elaichi) Powder, Prepared Fried Dry fruits And 1 Cup- Milk, Stir Continuously & Cook For 2- Minutes
Now Turn off Flame , The Traditional Sweet Rice Recipe Pongal Rice is Ready To Taste
