Crispy Famous Street Style urad dal vada recipe, This is one of the Famous Break Fast Which is Consumed Around All South India & North Indians
Ingredients For Urad Dal Vada :
- 1 Cups - Urad Dal (Black Gram) [ In Telugu - Mina pappu]
- 2 Cups - Rice
- 1 Tsp - Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- 1/4 Cup - Chopped Onions
- 1/4 Cup - Chilli Pieces
- 1/4 Cup - Coriander Leaves (Daniya)
- 1/4 Cup - Curry Leaves
- 2 Tbsp - Mint Leaves (Pudina)
- 1/4 Cup - Chooped Spring Onion Pieces (pyaaj patha)
- 1 Tsp - Garam Masala
- 1 Tsp - Ginger & Garlic Paste
- 1 Tsp - Salt & Oil for Deep Fry
How To Make Urad Dal Vada :
For Batter - In a Large Bowl Add Urad dal & Rice & Soak for 4 - Hours. After 4 Hours Blend them Adding Some Water in Sliding Batter Consistency
For Vada Mixture - Now in Batter Add Below Listed Items
- 1 Tsp - Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- 1/4 Cup - Chopped Onions
- 1/4 Cup - Chilli Pieces
- 1/4 Cup - Coriander Leaves (Daniya)
- 1/4 Cup - Curry Leaves
- 2 Tbsp - Mint Leaves (Pudina)
- 1/4 Cup - Chooped Spring Onion Pieces (pyaaj patha)
- 1 Tsp - Garam Masala
- 1 Tsp - Ginger & Garlic Paste
- 1 Tsp - Salt & Mix Well..
Deep Fry Process : Add Oil to Fry Pan, Heat it in Medium Flame , Now Add Prepared
Mixture To Oil by Making in Patty Shape With Hands.
Frying In Oil : Keep Sauteing Vada's in Oil For 8 - 10 Minutes in Medium Flame.
Once the vada turn Hard & golden brown on both sides, take them on a plate. It takes 8
minutes to cook one-time Batch of Vada. Crispy urad dal spring onion vada are ready for
fasting. Serve it with a fast green chutney or ivy gourd (Tindora) chutney and it is very tasty.
