Traditional Sweet Zarda Rice recipe

zarda sweet rice dish, native to the South India, Which is dessert or sweet dish Famous in Muslim marriages and occasions, Let's Start Procedure 

INGREDIENTS:-

2 Tbsp-  Ghee
2 Tbsp-  Dry Fruits
1/2 Kg - Rice
1/2 Kg- Sugar (Chekkara)
1/2 Kg - Prepared Boiled Rice
1 Cup-  Milk
1 Tsp- Spoon- Elaichi Powder
1 Pinch - Orange Food Colour

PROCEDURE:-


Now in a Pan Add 2 Tbsp- Ghee & 5- Kaju(Cashew Nuts), 5 - Almonds(Badam) & Raisins(dried Grapes) Fry This Dry Fruits in Ghee for 2- Minutes until Light Golden Colour, Keep A Side

Now Add 2 Tbsp - Ghee In A pan & Add Sugar, saute well for 2 - Minutes

Then Add Boiled Rice Add Mix It Gently

When Sugar Start's Melting  Cook In A Medium Flame And Add Pinch of Food Colour , Again Mix well Gently

Cook Until The Rice Observes The Sugar Syrup

When The Rice Become Thick Add Cardamom(Elaichi) Powder And Fried Dry Fruits ,Mix It Well

Now Tasty Sweet Rice Is ready...

When The Rice Is Almost Cooked Add 1 Tsp - Cardamom(Elaichi) Powder & Prepared Fried Dry

fruits And 1 Cup- Milk, Stir Continuously & Cook For 2- Minutes

Now Turn off Flame , The Traditional Sweet Rice Recipe Pongal Rice is Ready To Taste
